COVID-19: Our Response
WHAT IS COVID-19?

YOUR HEALTH & SAFETY MATTERS
The Coronavirus pandemic is a global crisis with wide reaching effects. It’s important that we must all do what we can to slow it’s spread as well as minimising the risks to ourselves whilst at the same time reaching out to those in need.
WHAT WE ARE DOING:
We are closely monitoring advice from the Department of Health and following this advice. As advice from the Department of Health changes, we will reflect these changes in our policies and in this notice.
The building and the equipment we use are being maintained at the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene and are seeking to obtain hand sanitisers which will be made readily accessible.
The King's Table, Food outreaches and other services will still go on but we will monitor the situation as well as advice from the Department of Health. Following the directions from the Department of Health & our Prime Minister, our upcoming fundraising event has been postponed until further notice.
Over the coming days, if there are changes to our activities, please keep checking our website and social media outlets for updates.
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
Please stay home, rest & seek medical attention

If you or your child are feeling unwell in particular if you have cold or flu like symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat etc.).

If you have travelled from overseas within the last 14 days - The government has implemented a compulsory 14 day self-isolation quarantine period for anyone returning from overseas.

If you believe you have coronavirus seek help medical attention early, call ahead to your doctor’s surgery so they can be prepared. Australian National Coronavirus Health Information Line is 1800 020 080.

If you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive, you should have already received medical attention and been instructed to be in home isolation.

If you have a COVID-19 test result pending.
Practice good hygiene

Please practice good hygiene by frequently washing your hands with either soap or hand sanitiser where available.

Avoid touching your mouth, nose and eyes. If you cough or sneeze, please turn so that you are not facing anyone and do so into a handkerchief or tissue which you then promptly dispose of in a safe manner.

Social distancing of 1.5m is being encouraged, please restrict hand to hand contact at gatherings and use sensible precautions when in closer proximity to others. We recommend that you don’t handshake or hug during this season.
