FOOD & CATERING
Charlie & Lisa Bakery has kindly supplied us with bread and pastries to give out to our guests at our Monday Night Outreach.
Oz Harvest redistributes surplus groceries from supermarket chains to a number of organisations serving the homeless and needy or our City - New Hope Care is one of those organisations. Oz Harvest provides the bulk of the ingredients for our King's Table Community Lunch and our food hampers.
We have partnered with our local Woolworths in South Brisbane and Kelvin Grove as a part of their food diversion program. We are incredibly grateful as this support helps with our weekly King's Table Lunch and allows us to support some of the most vulnerable people in our community with food parcels and cooked take-away meals.
We have partnered with our local Coles at Ashgrove and Newmarket, and are incredibly grateful for this support. Coles supports many community and charity partners through financial contributions, fundraising, food donations and disaster relief with the purpose of helping Australians eat and live better every day.
We have partnered with Foodbank, Australia’s largest food relief organisation – providing food and groceries to charities and school breakfast programs in every state and territory. Foodbank is a proud member of the Global Foodbanking Network, and supplies New Hope Care with fresh fruit and produce for distribution to our Brisbane network of share homes and our Kings Table. Foodbank Queensland was set up in 1995 to address the critical food relief needs affecting Queenslanders.
We have partnered with and provide referrals to Teen Challenge QLD, a not-for-profit organisation, established in 1971 to provide long-term residential treatment and rehabilitation services for those struggling to overcome addiction and other life controlling issues such as, self-harm, eating disorders, depression, and homelessness.

We have recently partnered with Thread Together to provide new clothing to those in need in our city. Thread Together saves new clothing from going to landfill, whilst one in eight adults and one in six children do not have adequate access to essential clothing. They believe that circumstances and disadvantage should not prevent people from accessing clothing to allow them to realise their full potential.
